Step-by-step lessons to grow strong writers in the Lower Elementary (1st-3rd grade) classroom. Unit 3 includes three weeks of instruction for a Writing Workshop group (2 lessons per week) and a Shared Writing group (1 lesson per week) focused on applying the Writing Cycle to the process of writing fiction stories. They will be highly engaged while learning foundational writing skills.
